The Big Picture
Interlaken Reformed Church is seeking a Pastor.
The Church
Interlaken Reformed Church is a small Bible based church in the heart of the beautiful Finger Lakes region in upstate New York, a beacon for our Lord in our community. This active congregation ranges in age from small children to several blessed members in their later 90’s. The church itself is 193 years old with a beautiful pipe organ in the Sanctuary, a Fellowship Hall, Children’s Church room, library, full kitchen and dining room, Pastor’s office, meeting room, and Church Secretary office. We have an active choir, Bible study groups, and the area’s largest food pantry for the needy. Currently, our worship service is a mixture of traditional and modern with praise music and beloved hymns, use of overhead projection and internet. We broadcast our Sunday services over Face Book and Youtube. Many congregational members have active roles in the service, singing, leading prayers, etc.
The Candidate
We are looking for a full or part time pastor - a leader in faith, truth, prayer and the Word – to care for the congregation spiritually and personally, and who can provide Christian support for the local community.
The Compensation
