Physical Therapy Assistant
Hours: Part-Time/24 hours (This is a benefits eligible position.)

The Mayer Center provides comprehensive care for children and adolescents with various developmental challenges. Our center offers services to meet the physical, emotional, and behavioral needs of children with a wide range of developmental disorders.
Our state-of-the-art facility is specifically designed for children and adolescents of all ages and abilities. The space includes dedicated treatment areas for physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), speech therapy (ST), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). In addition, the center is home to an extensive sensory gym with equipment designed to allow the exploration of sensory needs and build on self-regulation skills.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides physical therapy treatment to all patients with various diagnoses, under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position is responsible for the guidelines established in the treatment plan and requests input from the therapist if any problems arise.
