Pain Medicine Physician (Full-Time)Locations: Waldorf, MD & Prince Frederick, MDPractice: Newbridge Spine & Pain Center

Position Overview:

Newbridge Spine & Pain Center, a leading provider of comprehensive pain management services, is seeking a dedicated Pain Medicine Physician to join our team full-time. This position will be split between our Waldorf and Prince Frederick, Maryland locations. We offer flexible scheduling options , considering both 4-day and 5-day work weeks to support work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide non-surgical pain management and relief for both chronic and acute pain conditions.
• Perform interventional procedures such as subacromial injections, therapeutic and steroid injections, epidurals, cervical transforaminal epidural injections, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and nerve root blocks (candidates proficient in some but not all of these procedures will be considered).
• Diagnose and treat a variety of pain conditions, including:
  • Head, neck, and spine conditions
  • Shoulder, arm, and elbow conditions
  • Hip, leg, and knee conditions
  • General body conditions
  • Cancer-related pain
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists and other specialists.
• Educate patients on pain management strategies and preventative care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or Psychiatry.
• Fellowship trained and certified in Pain Medicine.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Pain Medicine preferred; however, stellar new graduates will be considered.
• Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

The salary range for this role is $280,000-$350,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or available benefits(medical, dental, vision, life, , 401K, paid time off, and/or other wellness programs).The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location and benefits vary by practice.
