This role is onsite in Nevada. Our client does offer relocation assistance but must currently reside in the U.S.

Minimal travel, on-call 24/7 and working 'typical business hours'

Should have: 10+ years of advanced experience in a food manufacturing environment including 5 years of management experience

This role oversees all Operating departments within the site. The position involves collaborating with plant management, employees, and acting as a liaison with all other departments. Responsibilities include the supervision of Receiving, Production, Maintenance, Wastewater, and Warehouse departments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the health, safety, and well-being of team members
  • Verify adequate staffing of teams to meet business needs
  • Participate in core leadership processes, including developing budgets, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Lead development of Key Performance Indicators
  • Facilitate communication between customers and Plant employees and departments
  • Ensure facility operations comply with company policies, expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Support an innovative, data-driven culture focused on continuous improvement and learning.
  • Assist leaders in optimizing business integration systems
  • Lead stakeholder collaboration to standardize functions in quality, safety, maintenance, sustainability, environmental matters, SAP, Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Auditing
  • Enable teams to improve equipment reliability
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage Capital and Expense Project Management processes.

Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of experience and 10+ years of progressive food manufacturing experience, including 5 years in management.
  • Beverage drying experience
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and act.
  • Interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including persuasive communication
  • Self-motivation and direction
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Effective interaction and communication with employees and customers at various levels
  • Adaptability to changing environments and requirements.
  • On-call availability.
