Divine Resource Solutions, LLC, a specialized recruiting partner, has been engaged on a confidential search for a Plant Manager to lead operations at a well-established manufacturing and distribution company. This role offers the opportunity to oversee and optimize a full-scale plant operation, driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement while leading a strong and dedicated team.

Role Overview

The Plant Manager will direct and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, quality, and warehouse activities. This leader will also spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, applying LEAN principles to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for production, maintenance, safety, quality, and warehouse operations.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activity, engaging employees and implementing processes that enhance performance.
• Develop and implement production schedules to manage resources effectively and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate plant activities with departmental managers to accomplish manufacturing goals in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics (on-time delivery, efficiency, safety, and quality).
• Implement cost-effective systems for expense, manpower, and capital control.
• Maintain and upgrade plant facilities, equipment, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of plant or general management experience.
• Strong knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
• Thorough knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and/or Six Sigma (training or certification preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
