The Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit comprises the technical talent and organizational leadership that enables the successful delivery of high-impact discriminating technologies for our customers' missions. What You'll Do: \n - Provide engineering leadership across the Tactical Solutions RF Systems sector program portfolio (Maritime, Air, Ground).
\n \n - Provide engineering support to architect RF mission solutions and system concepts.
\n \n - Provide systems engineering leadership of technical teams to define, direct implementation, and operate complex mission systems which include tactical platforms, instruments, and ground systems.
\n \n - Oversee and guide the management of specific analyses to show mission/payload performance and mission utility.
\n \n - Oversee and guide the management of mission requirements - allocation, verification, and validation.
\n \n - Develop systems engineering execution plans - schedules, staffing, and cost.
\n \n - Develop metrics to evaluate concepts that represent mission/system utility for the customer.
\n \n - Creatively apply our heritage and expertise to solve customer problems in novel and cost-effective ways.
\n \n - Mentor other systems engineers in systems engineering.
\n \n - Prepare and give presentations to peers/management/customers.
\n \n - Support technical proposal development as needed.
\n \n - Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
\n \n - Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
\n \n - Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: \n - Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
\n \n - May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
\n \n - May access other facilities in various weather conditions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n - BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required plus 6 or more years of related experience.
\n \n - Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
\n \n - A current, active Secret security clearance is required.
\n \n - Proven track record in producibility of designs with cost, budget, and schedule constraints for self and others is essential.
\n \n - Experienced at establishing relationships with key personnel within customer community.
\n \n - Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in relevant business environments.
\n \n - Demonstrated experience in developing and analyzing mission concepts, including tactical and ground components.
\n \n - Demonstrated experience in all phases of mission program execution, including early planning, design reviews, manufacture, assembly, integration, test, sell-off, mission operation, and sustainment.
\n \n - Demonstrated experience in systems engineering processes, including requirements development, concept of operations, requirement allocation, change management, verification and validation.
\n \n - Superb presentation skills with documented presentation experience to senior decision making and technical audiences.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n - Advanced computer application skills, such as Matlab, C, C++, IDL, STK, Cameo, Python, and other analytical tools.
\n \n - MBSE experience.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
