xAI does not have recruiters. Every application is reviewed directly by a technical member of the team.

You will leverage xAI's models and algorithms to create a new generation of delightful consumer products and experiences and scale this out to millions of users around the world.

You'll work with us on:

• Distilling insights from user needs and model research into clear product directions
• Designing and prototyping interfaces for surfaces on X and future standalone products
• Specifying and evaluating model behavior, working closely with our research efforts

After submitting your application, the team reviews your CV and statement of exceptional work. If your application passes this stage, you will be invited to a 15 minute interview ("phone interview") during which a member of our team will ask some basic questions. If you clear the initial phone interview, you will enter the main process:

1. Portfolio deep-dive: Walking through your design process and past works
2. A take-home design challenge
3. Meet and greet with the wider team.

Our goal is to finish the main process within one week. We don't rely on recruiters for assessments. Every application is reviewed by a member of our technical team. All interviews will be conducted via Google Meet.
