Position: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Auburn, KY

Pay: 75-85k

Hours: 1:00pm - 9:30pm

Industry: Manufacturing

We’re expanding our team and looking for a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift extrusion operations. This is a great opportunity to grow with a mission-driven, innovation-forward manufacturer where quality and teamwork are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the extrusion production team on the 2nd shift
• Ensure finished product meets quality, safety, and production standards
• Oversee workflow and maintain productivity, minimizing downtime
• Coach and develop team members through training and daily support
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations
• Complete and manage production records, reports, and inventory data
• Partner with HR to address performance issues and employee development
• Participate in physical inventory and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support and promote a positive, inclusive, and safe workplace culture

Qualifications:

• Degree in manufacturing, engineering, or business preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Proven mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools/equipment
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve problems in real time
• Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS/timekeeping systems
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and in varied temperature environments
• Willingness to work any shift as needed and be available for overtime

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise, dust, and temperature changes
• Time split between floor leadership and administrative tasks
• Indoor and outdoor working conditions
• Use of PPE such as steel-toed boots and safety glasses required
