Base pay range $145,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Insight Global Senior Professional Recruiter at Insight Global Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Python Developer , sitting remotely, for one of our clients expanding their team. Job Description: This individual will support the development of an integrated solution primarily used to visualize cyber security related data. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be primarily be responsible for Python code delivery - contributing to the code repository and visualizations (via Kabana and Elasticsearch). Requirements:

• 10+ years of software engineering/development experience involving areas such as system design, ETL orchestration, asynchronous processing, etc.
• At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience developing backend enterprise-level Python applications
• Extensive experience building highly performant, reliable, and scalable systems integrations to include ETL functionality, integrating functions between applications, and working with APIs.
• 5+ years developing microservice based applications utilizing components such as containers, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECR/ECS/EKS/Fargate, and container registries.
• 5+ years leveraging git repositories (e.g. Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket) with an advanced understanding of branching strategies, pull requests, commits, and other key concepts.
• Demonstrated experience writing unit tests to ensure reliable code delivery.
• Expertise in creating data pipelines to include batch and streaming data such as log data or tool/sensor data.
• Experience leveraging message queuing systems as part of a data pipeline solution. RabbitMQ or Kafka preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication. Must be comfortable presenting information both internally, and to customers. How often are they presenting
