Why This Job

The Recycling Reliability Manager oversees a program to monitor, maintain, and restore CMC’s shredders, shears and balers to operation during unexpected downtime. The RRM reports to the Recycling Operations Excellence Manager and manages a small group of engineers, technicians, and analysts as part of the program.

What You'll Do

• Support line during downtime events
• Dispatching team to site to troubleshoot, plan for restoring operation
• Main interface to support vendors for motors, automation, projects
• Maintain inventory of motors in service, spares including specifications and hours of service
• Maintain records for maintenance activities including PMs, revamps, replacements
• On site support during motor change outs
• Reliability Dept point of contact for plant and area managers
• Manage all critical spares for Shredders, Shears and Balers
• High degree of involvement in large planned outage events

What You'll Need

• 10+ years experience in Manufacturing Maintenance / Reliability
• Leadership role in CMC operations, management
• Proven project management skills
• Maintenance program experience including troubleshooting, managing PM activities
• SAP Maintenance module
• 5+ years experience in Recycling, especially shredding
• 4160V motor operation and protection methodologies

Your Education

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
