Job Description
We’re launching a new IP and looking for our Lead Artist . This is a freelance project starting at roughly 200 hours of work but we plan on it being an ongoing position for years to come.
The project's genre is a blend of DND and GTA, while its visual style will be a blend of Arcane and the works of Yoshiaki Kawajiri. Take a look at our mood board (the images are of a variety of styles but they each capture some element of what we're aiming for). This project is going to be epic.
Responsibilities
- Concept art: working with our Art Director you will set the look and feel of this world.
- Illustration: you will render various scenes from the web novel.
Skills & Requirements
Requirements
- High quality portfolio
- Excellent knowledge of 2D art and related software
- Able to depict motion (speed lines, blur, perspective etc.)
- Able to deliver results reasonably fast
- English proficiency
- Positive attitude
Will be a plus
- Able to turn still illustrations into minor animations. See an example here .
- Experience with sequential art (comics, manga, storyboarding etc.)
- Passion for the fantasy and crime genres.
- Enjoys reading novels.
