Flexible Salary Range: $110 - 140k+

Schedule: Fully onsite - 8:00am - 5:00pm EST (Could flex for the schedule)

Insight Global is seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Skincare Formulation Chemist to join a dynamic team at a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, with a strong background in skincare formulation. This role requires a deep understanding of key active ingredients, raw materials, product development, product efficacy/performance, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the formulation and development of innovative skincare products, including creams, lotions, serums, and other topical applications.
• Conduct research on new raw materials, key active ingredients, and technologies to enhance product performance and market appeal.
• Develop and optimize formulations to meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality formulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in skincare formulation within the cosmetics industry, preferably at a CDMO.
• Proven track record of developing successful skincare products from concept to market.
• Strong knowledge of key active ingredients (e.g., retinoids, peptides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants), raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and other cosmetic ingredients.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cosmetic products in major markets (e.g., FDA, MOCRA, EU).
