Job Description

General Position Summary / Job Scope: To provide safety leadership and guidance in the implementation of the Kroeschell's risk management and safety goals and objectives; to plan, train, implement and supervise the corporate safety program, or employees and ensure compliance with the company safety philosophy, culture and policies. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities including by not limited to : Ensures full compliance of risk management and safety plans, Controls hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee practices through site visits, safety plans, training and education of all personnel, Reviews documentation to insure all required onsite records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures, Reinforces safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and improved morale and creates a working atmosphere that promotes openness and a high level of enthusiasm and morale in the field, Conducts and assists in all incident investigations, Provides job safety orientation to all new employees and ongoing topic specific safety training as required. Specific Job Skills : Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to recognize onsite risk factors and take appropriate action with firmness and tact. Sense of responsibility and ownership for assigned work. Excellent customer service skills. Understand and follow protocols for the proper lines of communication. Clear understanding of Company mission and values. Ability to work independently and as part of team. 20% traveling required. Education and Experience (required) : Relevant bachelor's degree or higher.
