As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Beeville, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This driving and armed post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies while performing security-related tasks at the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following proper protocols and guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual behavior.
  • Interact with visitors, employees, and/or customers in a professional manner, offering assistance as needed.
  • Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activity according to established reporting protocols.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities within the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
