Job Description
Job Summary:
The Senior Materials Management Warehouse Clerk supports day-to-day warehouse operations, focusing on efficient inventory control, stocking, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies within the healthcare facility. The Senior Clerk utilizes Infor Lawson ERP and related systems to maintain inventory accuracy, support clinical operations, and uphold supply chain best practices. (This is a union position)
Key Responsibilities:
· - Coordinate with warehouse staff to support stocking, picking, staging, and delivery of supplies to clinical and support departments.
· - Work in partnership with the Senior Receiving Clerk on all receiving activities, including verification of incoming shipments, reconciliation against purchase orders, and documentation in Infor Lawson.
· - Assist with resolution of receiving discrepancies, damages, and backorders, escalating as needed to purchasing and/or management.
· - Participate in routine cycle counts and support annual physical inventory efforts; identify and reconcile variances.
· - Ensure that supplies are stored appropriately and distributed in compliance with safety, sterility, and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
· - High School diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
· - Preferred 3 years of experience in healthcare warehouse, materials management, or distribution center operations.
· - Familiarity with hospital supply chain processes and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Competencies:
· - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional team environments.
· - Strong attention to detail and time management. Must be punctual.
· - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and operating standard material handling equipment.
