Saylor is seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team and work exclusively on an exciting dedicated entertainment account. In this role, youll be responsible for developing high-impact social-first ideas and writing copy that engages and excites audiences across various social platforms.

We represent a wide range of clients including Netflix, Disney, Amazon, Hulu, Paramount+, and more.

This is a freelance role at 20 hours per week with a rate of $50.00-$75.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Overview

The Copywriter will work directly with the Accounts, Strategy, and Creative departments to pitch, script, execute, and (sometimes) publish content across all current and emerging social platforms for a premium entertainment brand account. You will help define social content strategies; pitch content ideas, write social copy; engage directly with followers via community management.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an energetic, creative thinker whos passionate about telling social-driven stories that reach millions with in-depth experience on social platforms.

Not only do you love pitching exciting ideas, but you love backing them up with data and insights for a comprehensive brand or campaign strategy. We are looking for a true Internet native who lives on social media and is always up-to-date on the latest trends.

There will be occasions when in-office presence, at either our Echo Park HQ or a clients office, is required based on the needs of specific accounts. We will do our best to accommodate scheduling and still provide you with your flex days.

Responsibilities:

Write and edit engaging copy for a variety of entertainment-related content, including social media posts, website content, email campaigns, press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials.

Work with the account management team to understand the clients brand voice, objectives, and target audience. Contribute to content strategies and campaign planning.

Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and audience preferences to ensure all content is relevant and impactful.

Develop creative concepts and messaging that align with the clients entertainment brand and marketing goals.

Incorporate client feedback and make revisions to ensure content meets high standards and aligns with the clients vision.

Qualifications:

3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably with a focus on entertainment or lifestyle sectors.

Demonstrated ability to write compelling, high-quality content. A portfolio showcasing your work with entertainment brands is highly desirable.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong grasp of grammar, style, and tone. Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms.

Proven track record of creative thinking and generating innovative ideas that drive engagement.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with content management systems, social media platforms, and basic SEO principles.
