Employee Experience (EX) Solution Director – Roles & Responsibilities Press Ganey has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Experience (EX) Solution Director whose primary responsibilities are to drive growth and expansion of all Employee Experience solutions. This role is pivotal in driving business development, deepening client relationships, and positioning Press Ganey as the premier partner for Employee Experience in healthcare. The Press Ganey platform is purpose‑built for healthcare; our people have decades of experience with employee engagement in healthcare. Together, they are a powerful resource that gives our customers the tools to rally everyone— their leaders, their front‑line workers, and their staff. Our employee engagement technology empowers organizations to unify safety culture, clinical excellence, DEI, patient experience, and workforce insights—all within a single, integrated solution. Lead business development efforts across assigned market, with a keen understanding of white space and new business opportunities. Develop a targeted growth plan for the assigned market including prospecting, lead generation, qualification and closing strategies. Partner closely with Marketing and Inside Sales to execute on all prospecting strategies. Partner with the sales team on the sales cycle or manage the full sales cycle, being flexible to work in either scenario. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on all of Press Ganey’s EX Solutions and how they are used by current clients and potential clients. Demonstrate the Employee Experience platform and effectively demo solutions to prospects. Exhibit strong presentation and facilitation skills and be able to make sales presentations to customers and prospects at all levels. Highlight the benefits of Press Ganey’s Employee Experience solutions and competitive advantages to facilitate client and prospect understanding. Lead and inspire clients, setting the vision for what is possible by leveraging Press Ganey’s suite of Employee Experience solutions. Lead contract negotiation discussions for all EX opportunities in the assigned market. Maintain a strong knowledge of top client problems and how Press Ganey’s solutions are uniquely positioned to meet those needs. Maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of the competitive landscape. Lead RFP win strategy and proposal development process, partnering with Field Operations, to ensure the creation of compelling, client‑tailored deliverables. Navigate across Press Ganey to leverage experts, executives, and sales engineers to participate in the sales process, acting as lead voice and guide for how these individuals will operate within the opportunity. Develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with colleagues within Press Ganey’s EX Business Unit, leveraging project teams to identify growth opportunities with existing clients. Model strong adherence to the sales process, including use of pricing tools, workforce strategy development and ongoing use of Salesforce.com as a critical business tool. Maintain ongoing communication with the sales team to ensure tight alignment on growth pursuits, including regular 1:1 meetings and adherence to Salesforce reporting and dashboards. Qualifications 10+ years of sales, business development, and/or consulting experience in the Workforce/Employee Experience space. Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus. Strong collaboration / team‑selling skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening, demonstration, and presentation skills. Strong writing skills to include presentations (PowerPoint) and RFPs. Solid working knowledge of strategic planning, execution of strategy, budgeting, business development and sales. Demonstrated solid leadership qualities and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience. Flexible to travel up to 50%. Location and Travel This role can be remote (work from home) in the U.S. or based in our Chicago, Boston or South Bend hubs. For those in‑office, we follow a hybrid model— Tuesdays through Thursdays in‑office, with flexibility to work from home on other days and adjusted when traveling.
