We are actively hiring a Spanish  Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

• In this role, linguists will use native or near native reading and writing skills and cultural expertise.
• Linguists to provide high-caliber bidirectional Spanish to English interpretation, translation, and transcription for high-level engagements and exchanges
• As needed, linguists may be asked to travel CONUS and OCONUS TDY opportunities to meet the office’s requirements, as needed. Travel – Approximately 20%

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree desired
• Interpretation between source and target languages
• Translation into English and target language
• Transcription into English and target language
• Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise
• Terminology Management

• Simultaneous Interpretation
• Translation Related Services
• Blogging while drawing upon linguistic/cultural expertise
• Quality Control and Editing of language products
• Monitoring published, online and broadcast media to identify relevant content
• Writing Reports
• Subject Matter Expertise in Counterterrorism, Cyber and Economics areas of focus
