Join to apply for the Sr. Valuation Risk Analyst role at Columbia Bank New Jersey Summary: Serves as the lead valuation reviewer with a focus on the most complex property types and assignments. Job Responsibilities: Valuation Review: Evaluates complex individual appraisal reports and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and bank policy. Recommends actions to address unacceptable appraisal reports. Assesses the validity of existing appraisals and evaluations. Environmental & Corporate RE: Assists in reviewing non-complex environmental reports for compliance and works with environmental professionals to resolve issues. Assesses the validity of environmental reports. Valuation/Environmental Risk Management: Monitors and maintains a risk-focused valuation process to support lending decisions. Assists in managing an environmental risk program, conducts periodic reviews, and acts as an alternate liaison between departments to resolve appraisal and environmental issues. Bank Policy & Departmental Procedures: Assists in reviewing and recommending updates to valuation and environmental policies. Oversees vendor performance and compliance through a Vendor Management Program. Training & Real Estate Market Analysis: Monitors primary real estate markets, prepares market briefings, and provides training. Stays current on market trends and education requirements. Technology: Monitors industry technology changes, participates in project teams for new tools, and collaborates on technology implementation to improve department efficiency and communication. Workflow: Develops and manages appraisal workflows, reviews reports, tracks reviewer quality, and updates vendor management documentation.
