Job Description
LHH is currently conducting a search for a Staff Accountant Job in Columbus, Ohio. This position will receive great hands on training as they work directly with the Controller. This is an extremely stable company with a long track record of being a great place to work.
Essential Job Functions of Staff Accountant Job
Manage general ledger and assist in month-end close process
Complete journal entries and reconciliations
Maintaining inventory databases
Aid in assembling, analyzing, and preparing summaries of activity in financial accounts, and maintain account reconciliations
Focus on continuous improvement of finance workflows via the use of existing and new technology solutions
Job Requirements of Staff Accountant Job
Bachelors in Accounting
1-3 years of experience (internship experience is a bonus)
Advanced Excel skills
Effective communicator, confident and comfortable interacting with management and other departments
