Sterile Process Technician
Contract Duration 13 weeks
Pay rate up to $30/hr
Job Description / Comment:
Shift: 11P-7A - M-F 75-mile radius rule!
Sterile Process Technician must be available for weekend work as well
Must be certified
Performs all phases of decontamination: instruments, carts, and equipment (commodes, Imeds, Isolation Carts, wheelchairs, stretchers, etc.)
Operates the washer-decontaminator, cart wash, and steam gun.
Performs all phases of inspecting and assembling instruments for the OR, Labor & Delivery, IR, X-ray, ER
Operates the sterilizers in the department (STEAM and STERRAD).
Adheres to the proper wrapping, labeling, and logging on the appropriate log sheets.
Maintains accurate logs on all sterilizers.
Operates heat sealer, labeling gun and drying cabinet
