Job Details

We are seeking a Strategic Sr Finance Associate to join a rapidly expanding private equity-backed platform in the Eastern U.S. This role will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and support aggressive growth through acquisitions. The ideal candidate will bring transaction experience, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with leadership to develop and maintain a comprehensive data cube, integrating KPIs, P&L items, and project-specific trends.
• Support buy-and-build M&A strategy by assisting with due diligence, integrations, and ongoing portfolio performance tracking.
• Leverage data tools, including Salesforce, Planful, and Excel-based models, to deliver actionable insights for operational and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare for the eventual exit process by ensuring clean, accurate, and leveraged data to streamline sale readiness.
• Collaborate regularly with the deal team, portfolio support team, and operations to maintain alignment on performance and strategy.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or related field.
• Direct experience supporting multiple deals simultaneously (buy-side and/or sell-side).
• Strong understanding of KPIs, operational finance, and data analysis in a PE context.
• Familiarity with financial consolidation and forecasting tools (Planful, Sage Intacct, Pegasus) preferred.
• CPA or relevant advanced degree a plus.

Compensation: $110-$130K base + 10–15% bonus.
