Job Description

Overview All Care Wellness is seeking a licensed or certified alcohol and drug counselor (LADC or CADAC) for our New Bedford clinic. Currently we have openings for both Full Time and Part Time positions. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting intakes and assessments, group therapy, and individual therapy, aftercare, and a minimum of 2 years work experience in the chemical dependency field. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, our counselors are ultimately responsible for providing individual and group therapy to patients suffering from substance abuse disorder. Responsibilities Utilize various therapeutic models and theories to understand and plan intervention strategies for patients Complete screening, intakes, assessments, treatment plans and discharge summaries as needed throughout the course of patient care Monitor patient progress and properly maintain patient records in our electronic medical record system Collaborate with other community agencies as necessary for optimal patient care Attend monthly multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and/or barriers to patient care Qualifications Licensed or certified alcohol and drug counselor (LADC or CADAC) Experience conducting intakes and assessments, group therapy, and individual therapy Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the chemical dependency field Motivated, self-starter and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive wages and sign-on bonus Medical and Dental Insurance Short Term Disability Paid vacations and holidays Referral Bonus Drug Free Workplace Flexible Scheduling #J-18808-Ljbffr ALL CARE HOMECARE, LLC
