Position Title: Senior Accountant

Wage: Based on Experience

Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions has partnered with a small CPA firm in Belton, MO to staff a Tax Accountant role. They are seeking a tax professional to take ownership of tax responsibilities and grow into a leadership role within their firm. This position offers flexibility of work hours, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a direct impact with clients. There is flexibility for fully remote work once established.

What You'll Do:

- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns

- Identify and resolve tax / accounting issues

- Work directly with clients to ensure accurate tax returns

- Help build and eventually lead the firm's tax function

What We're Looking For:

- Tax experience with solid accounting knowledge and Bachelor's degree in Accounting

- CPA or EA credential (or actively, or will be, pursuing)

- Strong problem-solving, communication and independent work skills

- Can-do attitude and ability to provide constructive feedback
