Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality tax consultancy services to a diverse range of clients, including corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
2. Prepare and review complex tax returns and related financial statements.
3. Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and offer the best possible advice to our clients.
4. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client profits.
5. Assist clients in handling tax audits and negotiations with tax authorities.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes in tax laws to provide accurate and relevant advice.
7. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
8. Provide training to junior staff and contribute to their professional development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Accountant, with a specific focus on corporate, partnership, and LLC tax accounting.
3. Extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures at the federal, state, and local levels.
4. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
5. Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
7. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
8. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
9. Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
