*Job Title:* Construction Inspector *Location:* On-site in Columbus, OH
*Start Your Career in Construction & Telecom!* Our client is hiring entry-level OSP Field Inspectors to support fiber optic build projects in Columbus.
This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to break into the construction or telecommunications industry. You'll receive guidance and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
*What You'll Do:*
* Travel to active construction sites to observe and document progress
* Take notes and photos of fiber optic builds and report findings to the office team
* Work closely with construction crews and learn how fiber networks are built
* Use a tablet to record data and follow instructions from project managers
* Help ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards
*What We're Looking For:*
* 1+ year of experience in any construction-related role (landscaping, general labor, etc. counts!)
* Interest in learning about fiber optics, telecom, and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure
* Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for documentation
* Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
*Nice to Have:*
* Degree or coursework in Construction Management or related field
* Previous exposure to fiber, coax, or cable work
* Strong communication and organizational skills

*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
