Founded in 2019, Saluda Grade is a rapidly growing asset-backed specialist with approximately $1.5 billion across managed fund vehicles and securitizations. Role Description:

We are looking for an ambitious technology analyst to design, develop, and ultimately lead certain Investment Operations technology capabilities. This person will have a unique and high-impact role that’s integral to shaping and scaling the capabilities of the Investment Group at Saluda Grade. The role comes with high visibility, upward mobility, and exposure to all facets of asset management.

 The right candidate will command a role that bridges diverse responsibilities typically found across multiple departments. This aspect should be particularly interesting to candidates looking to transition to an asset management career path. The right candidate will thrive on building solutions, leading a wide variety of projects, and developing personally by curating a diverse skillset.

 This person will work directly with the Head of Trading Technology “doing the work”, and is expected to be a quick study, responsive, intrinsically motivated and have the drive to grow into an elevated role in the organization.

  Responsibilities:

• Independently gather requirements, discuss proposals, and develop/implement the solutions that improve processes and capabilities
• Become the main contributor to the in-house investment operations technology platform

- Improvements to database infrastructure

- 3rd party data & API integrations

- Asset monitoring capabilities

- Enhance quality control and reporting

- Boost technology capabilities, providing for more efficient workflows and processes

- Enhanced access to asset management data and analytics for use by other areas of the firm 

• Obtain detailed knowledge of Investment Operations to allow for an intimate understanding of the platform requirements

  Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in C#
• 3+ years of experience in SQL
• Interest in or have experience in Operations
• Exposure to any of Finance/MBS/Real Estate/Lending/Trading
• Strong in Excel
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
