Description Job purpose for Training Specialist: The Training Specialist will be responsible for researching, designing, and delivering a range of training programs, primarily focused on Retail Branch Banking. This role plays a key part in implementing new training initiatives, maintaining and updating current materials in collaboration with business leaders, and working closely with employees to enhance their knowledge and skillsets. Duties and responsibilities for Training Specialist: Develop Training Programs : Create and update training materials and content to meet the specific needs of business units, covering bank systems, sales, products, services, and internal policies. Create & Deliver Multi-Format Learning : Facilitate training sessions using various platforms such as e-learning, workshops, and hands-on training. Assess and Improve Training Effectiveness : Collect feedback through post-training surveys and adjust future training programs to increase overall effectiveness. Foster an Engaging Learning Environment : Create a positive, productive learning atmosphere that enhances employee engagement and retention. Collaborate with Management : Build strong relationships with leadership teams to share employee progress, coordinate remedial training, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Other duties as assigned Qualifications for Training Specialist: Experience Required : 2-4 years experience within branch banking as a lead teller or personal banker and/or 2-4 years previous training experience Preferred : 1-3 years previous training experience, preferably technical training Education Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
