Unarmed Security Officer - WEEKENDS REQUIRED Mountain View, CA. As a Security Officer at SR Global Security, you will play a crucial role in protecting our clients, their assets, and their employees. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities, controlling access points, and monitoring surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threats Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed Operate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidents Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents Collaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assets Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards Provide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requests Conduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff members Requirements Current Guard Card High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations Excellent observation skills and attention to detail Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of time Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
