About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Global Supply Chain to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of a world-class end-to-end global supply chain for clinical and commercial cell therapies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the supply chain operates in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and is capable of reliably meeting the company's supply chain goals while maintaining high levels of quality. This role involves leading a global supply chain team, defining and deploying best-in-class supply chain and operational excellence tools, and creating exceptional partnerships both within and outside the organization to manage a complex cell therapy supply chain. Core qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree with 20 years' or a Master's degree with 15 years' of related biopharmaceutical work experience, with a minimum of 10 years' in management and at least 5 years' leading supply chain teams in fast-paced cGMP environments. Experience in cell and/or gene therapy is strongly preferred. The role requires a strategic leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams. The VP, Global Supply Chain will be expected to drive continuous improvement, instill an operational excellence culture, and proactively manage operational, quality, and organizational risks. The ability to travel domestically and internationally is also necessary to support the global supply chain operations.
