Construction Technician
Qualifications
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Must possess a valid driver’s license
3+ years of experience working in a construction related field preferred
Ability to navigate through company internet-based time-card system
Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
Possess basic math skills necessary to complete measurements at job sites
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and procedures
Must be physically able to perform moderately strenuous tasks which include climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds
Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and electrical preferred
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Project Supervisor, the Construction Technician will perform duties including but not limited to: installations, cutting and measuring building materials (including drywall), demolition, customer interaction, assisting the Foreman with daily construction tasks
