Job Title: Financial Analyst Associate Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA Position Overview: Our client, a non-profit, is looking to hire a Junior Financial Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial/accounting background, be customer service-oriented, and possess intermediate Excel skills. This is a temporary position with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. The hourly pay range for this job is $28.00-$36.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Attend customer meetings and write detailed meeting notes. Follow up with various departments to ensure action items are completed. Reconcile accounts and provide updates to project teams. Conduct budget vs. actual analysis and report on findings. Handle compliance-related paperwork and ensure adherence to state regulations. Support senior team members by taking on tasks to free up their time for customer interactions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level, including pivot tables and IF statements). Experience with NetSuite is a plus. Additional skills in Power BI or advanced Excel are beneficial but not required. Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools. Nonprofit experience is preferred but not a prerequisite. Non-Profit Industry experience preferred but not required.
