Job Description:

About the Role:

The Quality Manager role at the Hanover location establishes, directs and monitors all in plant food safety, quality and sanitation procedures. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining Food Safety & Quality Assurance programs including, but not limited to: Formula Control, Allergen Control, Non-Conforming, Recall, Sanitation Effectiveness, Environmental Monitoring Organic, Pest Control and Food Safety Plans
• Managing, developing, coaching and mentoring Quality Assurance and Sanitation leaders/supervisors
• Establishing plant operating and capital budgets for quality - identifying projects that impact quality and food safety and are part of the facility capital plan
• Assuring implementation and utilization of SPC system, including Infinity QS, which will allow for real time process control and data driven decision making by operators
• Managing consumer complaints, establishing trending, implementing corrective actions and responding appropriately to all investigation requests
• Leading, supporting and maintaining facility GFSI Certification (SQF), Kosher and RSPO certifications

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role at our Hanover, PA manufacturing facility.

About You:

You’ll fit right in if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in technical studies such as chemistry, food science or related fields
• Five years’ quality assurance experience with 1-2 years demonstrated leadership ability
• Understanding of statistical analysis, precision measurement, process capability studies, chemistry, and food processes
• Ability to read and write in-depth policies, procedures and related materials
• Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of product process and employee privacy information
