This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization based in a state-of-the-art, luxury facility in Downtown LA, CA. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSEnsure that the club and exercise equipment are clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer serviceEnsure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentableClean the locker room and stock all locker room consumablesClean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat roomsMaintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floorProvide maintenance for all equipmentUse equipment appropriately and efficientlyReceive and store all deliveriesAssist with special eventsNotify the Housekeeping Manager when any rooms or equipment need immediate attentionProvide each member and potential member with the best quality customer serviceOther duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 1 year related experienceHigh school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experienceMust possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environmentPrior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferredAbility to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand toolsStrong customer service, organizational, communication, and multi-tasking abilitiesMust be able to work well with others in a team oriented environment where one willingly takes on additional tasks with a positive attitude to help out the team/department.Must be able to follow (written and oral) instructions and established proceduresESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching.
