Leasing Agent Job Description

Promontory Apartments is looking for a capable Leasing Agent to lease and support the growth and profitability of a multi-family home complex.

Shows up to work on-time consistently, responsive, and great time management skills. Flexible schedule a plus.

3. Customer Service

Listens and acts, provides patience and empathy, effective conflict resolution skills, and provides a positive tenant experience. Strong Customer Service skills required.

4. Technical Knowledge

Works well under pressure, uses problem solving skills, and has a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, iPhone, and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of typical office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

5. Drive

Self-motivated with a desire to learn and willing to go above and beyond, works well with minimal or no supervision. Driven to learn more and take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Present property and amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants.
• Advertise available units and property on various media platforms.
• Determine the needs, living standards and housing requirements of prospective tenants.
• Accept rental applications, screen prospective and negotiate leasing terms.
• Remain knowledgeable in housing industry and market trends.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Walk, stand, run, sit, stoop, kneel and climb stairs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors under multiple weather conditions based on business need.
• Ability to work in typical office setting for multiple hours at a time.
• Ability to work on short notice based on business need.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in property management a plus.
• Knowledgeable in Fair Credit, Equal Housing a plus.
