Amotec is currently recruiting for Material Handlers in the Wickliffe, OH area. These roles are with our client, a leader in Roll Forming and Manufacturing. In this role, you will operate a forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move steel and metal throughout the facility . Individuals who have operated a forklift in the past and who are confident balancing loads are encouraged to apply. • 1st and 2nd Shifts Available

Job Description:  

• Safely operate a forklift to load/unload materials and move materials throughout the plant.
• Balance loads and work with odd-shaped material.
• Band steel and rolls and prep/stage them for shipping.
• Complete bill of ladings and check in incoming shipments.
• Perform logging and general data entry.
• Assist in other areas of the facility as required.
  
   

Other Requirements and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift – prior certification a PLUS.
• Have experience balancing loads and working with odd-shaped materials.
• Previous warehouse experience, in a manufacturing setting, REQUIRED.
• Competency with basic shop math.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
