DESCRIPTION

As a Program Manager working on identifying supplemental funding models for Career Choice, you will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and evaluating supplemental funding models to support continued growth of the program. This includes exploring options like Title IV aid, FAFSA, Pell Grants, state workforce development funds, and merit-based institutional grants. You will need a deep understanding of the existing funding landscape, the ability to identify gaps and opportunities, and to work cross-functionally to develop and execute robust strategies. Key responsibilities will involve understanding funding sources available, requisite application processes, how each stakeholder type (student, school, employer, government) interacts with the process, and the data sharing required for each stage, then integrating these components to create a seamless experiences for participants and school partners.

Key job responsibilities
1. Conduct in-depth research to deeply understand the existing Career Choice funding landscape, including available sources, eligibility criteria, application processes, data sharing requirements, and ability to report on awarded amounts.
2. Develop innovative strategies to expand access to supplemental resources like FAFSA, Pell Grants, state workforce funds, and merit-based institutional grants.
3. Work cross-functionally with both internal teams like Finance, Education Teams, and Legal, as well as external teams like School Partners and the US Department of Education to design, plan, and implement new funding solutions.
4. Evaluate the data sharing requirements and stakeholder interactions for various funding sources, then integrate these components to create seamless experiences for Career Choice participants and school partners.
5. Track the impact and outcomes of newly implemented funding models, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve the program.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Prior experience navigating complex financial aid systems and processes.
- Demonstrated track record of securing supplemental funding to support educational and workforce development initiatives.
- Strong program management and project delivery skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
- Proficient data analysis and visualization capabilities to inform decision-making.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
