As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a secure environment while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter prohibited items or individuals from entering the premises.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • At least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, and/or military is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
