Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns from start to finish.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and offer tax planning insights.
• Record tax-related entries into accounting software and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Apply and advise on tax reduction strategies.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements.
• Occasionally correspond with the IRS on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax preparation and review within public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax codes for individuals and small businesses.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated success managing end-to-end tax processes in a fast-paced environment.
