Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Cerner proficiency for a Level III trauma setting.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a short-term acute care hospital cardiac catheterization lab
• Daily caseload averages 12 procedures
• Adult patient population with cardiac interventions
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Day shifts available as 4x10 or 5x8, starting at 6:00 or 7:00 AM
• Call required every third weekend and 1–2 days per week, including some holidays
• Only call required on weekends and holidays
• May float to interventional radiology if proficient and to other nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
• Return staff are eligible if it has been more than 3 years since previous assignment
• Blue scrubs are required
• 50 mile radius rule applies and locals are not accepted
• Up to 10 days of RTO allowed, but willingness to work 1 of 3 holidays if RTO overlaps holiday period
• Must maintain professional conduct and adhere to attendance expectations as repeated call-offs may result in contract termination
• No cost for parking

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required
• RCIS preferred but not required
• Active or pending state license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
• Ability to start assignment as soon as possible
• Willingness to complete up to 8 hours of pre-start modules within 1 week of signing
